Head Coach - James Boyce
James Boyce has over seven years of coaching experience. James holds a silver licence and has taken swimmers to Nationals for the last four years. James grew up on the Sunshine Coast and started swimming at Nambour when he was about 10 Years old under coach Glen Houseman. He then attended Nudgee College where he continued swimming under coach Vince Raleigh. James has worked under some high quality coaches including Peter Gartrell and Michael Sage. James last appointment was Head Coach at Cotton Tree and has coached at Australian Youth camps and the Australian Distance Camp. He has just come back from the USA after being awarded a scholarship to attend the American Swimming Coaches Association World Clinic.
Assistant Coach - Chris Raleigh
Chris Raleigh has over 30 years coaching experience. Chris with her husband Vince established the Nudgee Brothers Swim Club where they successfully ran the swim program for a period of 11 years. Her career includes coaching and running the learn to swim program at Monash University Pool in Melbourne and working with Vince as an assistant coach at a university program in Canada. Chris holds a silver license and is an Austswim Assessor, Presenter and Learn to Swim Teacher (including Disabled and Therapeutic Aquatics and Infant Aquatic Teacher).
Natalie Hopsick and Lorna Reid have joined the coaching team to assist with all our the squad programs.
