Marlins Squad
45 Minutes |
Marlins squad is the steppingstone for kids who have completed a Learn to Swim program and are ready to move into squad based training. Marlins enables swimmers to confidently swim all four strokes whilst both refining their technique and building a skill base. They will be introduced to correct turns, dives and how to use the pace clock preparing them for squad transition. |
Barracudas Squad
60 Minutes |
The focus of the Barracudas squad is to provide competitive or recreational swimmers with further development of squad training skills and technique with an increase of physical conditioning. An introduction into racing skills is also introduced into this level. |
Intermediate Squad
60 Minutes |
The training objective for the Intermediate squad includes skill development, race specific training and preparation for competition. |
State Development Squad
1 Hour 30 Mins |
The training object for the State Development squad includes skill development, race specific training and preparation for competition. Swimmers in this squad are required to compete on a regular basis for the MCA swimming club. |
Development Squad
1 Hour 45 Mins / 2 Hours |
The training objective for the Development squad includes skill development, race specific training and preparation for competition. Swimmers in this squad are required to compete on a regular basis for the MCA swimming club and aim to reach states. |
National Squad
2 Hours / 2 Hours 30 Mins |
The training objective for the National squad includes skill development, race specific training and preparation for competition. Swimmers in the squad are required to compete on a regular basis for the MCA swimming Club and aim to reach State and National Level. The Head Coach must approve entry into this squad. |

Be a good sport and team player. Swim for enjoyment. Work equally as hard for your team as you would for yourself.
